I think both of your answers are correct . I have had pah for 12 years .now fluid an causes my chest pains instead of coca cola I drink more water and take fluid pill when I feelmy chest is hurting. I keep saying g hurting it's more like tight when working if I get short breath really quick its the fluid . It's really weird the way PAH does you .I try not to let the mental part that people don't talk about to much get me down that's what keeps me going more than you would think , when first found out had this my legs would swell. And blister and turn red black in color even taking meds it was because oxygen in blood was way to low ,now I check this myself at least q time a week I been at 98 now than 86 before
.

Hi Linda. The above info covers a lot. We're your meds changed recently? Two problems I had over the last 6 mos. is fluid buildup and then one with a medication that cause bad constipation as the dose was titrated up every couple weeks. Both caused rolling nausea.
The chest pain is probably something to talk to your Dr. about. Hope you feel better.

Nausea and chest pain can be concerning symptoms, especially if you have pulmonary hypertension (PH) or pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Chest pain in PAH may result from high blood pressure in the lungs, heart strain, or complications like left main coronary artery compression. Nausea could be linked to fluid buildup in the abdomen (ascites) from right-sided heart failure. Please consult your doctor promptly to evaluate these symptoms and ensure timely care.
