Anyone Else Get Leg Cramps Or Cramps In Hands Or Feet?

A myPHteam Member asked a question 💭
Lakeland, FL

Hello,
I just read that leg cramps can be a symptom of PH. I was wondering if that is a symptom most get? You mostly only hear about the lung and heart involvement. I just assumed that the cramps in my legs was from something else. I also wonder if anyone else experience cramps at the bottom of your hands and feet? Also does anyone get pain in the forearms?
Thank you.

Careful on the potassium, mine got too high and didn't know it until routine blood work, ended up in the hospital for a weekend... no symptoms at all. Weird! ( high potassium can foul up the heart!)

Hi Karin. We had a similar question recently and a lot of us, including me, have low potassium levels because of our diuretics. Low potassium can cause cramps and you may need supplemental potassium.
