How Do I Know If I Have PH? I Have All The Symptoms Plus Some. Should I Ask My Doctor To Test Me For It?

Actually, an echocardiogram can only suggest you may have Pulmonary Hypertension and give you ball figure for your pressures. The gold standard in diagnosing Pulmonary Hypertension is a Right Heart Catheterization. It is the only definitive test for Pulmonary Hypertension.
Blood work, X-Rays, CT scans, echocardiograms and other tests are all used in diagnosis usually confirmed with a RHC.
