I Don't Know If There Is Anyone Or AI Or Having To Ask The Dr. The Answer To This Question.
I have read now of 2 people diagnosed with associative PAH. I know of the 5 WHO groups that PH & PAH are classified as, however, I don't recall hearing about associative pulmonary arterial hypertension. Is there a new WHO group and what does being diagnosed with it mean. Ex. I am idiopathic arterial hypertension and idiopathic meaning of unknown origin as to why I have PAH and I am in WHO group 1. What WHO group is associative PAH?
Wow Kelly covid really F'd you up. I know this group is for PH and if it seems like you are past that as a diagnosis I would hate to see you not be here anymore I really appreciate conversating with you. I guess conversating is a word, if not let's make it a word. funny ha ha lol I sure am sad to here how much agony you are experiencing. So I guess this means a crazy wild flashback to the 80's night won't be happening for us, if I were to make it to V.A.? funny ha ha lol If ever there was to be a wild and crazy 80's flashback night now after meeting you here it just wouldn't be right if you weren't there. I'd be dragging an oxygen tank around, I'm not sure what you would add to the menagerie. Yeah 40 something yrs. later we are the poster children of what became of the 80's. I sure miss the 80's. Life moves along. I'm glad I'm here now amongst a comfortable online place to chat with people. Sometimes I just have to chat about other stuff besides this condition. For me, that is important and helps me deal better w/ said condition.
Have a good weekend.
p.s. I don't think conversating is a word because this grammar assist thing I have had the audacity to change the word to conversation. I wasn't having none of it. You can bet I changed that right back because I declare it a word. Anybody want to second that action? funny ha ha lol
Associated pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is not a new WHO group but rather a subcategory within WHO Group 1. Here's a detailed breakdown:
- WHO Group 1: Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH)
- Idiopathic PAH: No known cause
- Heritable PAH: Inherited from a parent.
- Drug- or toxin-induced PAH: Caused by Show Full Answer
Hey Kris. I have become a big medical reader, mostly due to my friends here insisting I be my biggest advocate for my health. Thanks guys, it has helped in now starting a fabulous health team. I was reading tonight (usually a few hours a day), and see by the answer you just received that PH.. and other forms, can start with some of the same things quite a few other diseases start from. I’ve noticed too that almost every one I look at, have same symptoms!! I’m now being tested for Cushings Disease but I can already tell by bloodwork and other characteristics, that’s not it. It does look like ADDISON’S Disease with Hashimoto's Disease?? (Know one is Thyroid but not sure on Hashimoto yet). This is on top of other medical like Long Covid. I am not sure who here though they also had Long Covid but read this quick find. I really think at times I’m dying as much pain this causes, but at least seeing this makes me feel I’m not crazy or the only one.
