Hi everyone! I hope everyone is having a great day! I know that a person's prognosis varies depending on so many different factors, but can anyone please tell me what the typical lifespan is for someone who has PH? I mean, about how long can someone plan to live with this disease? And does anyone know what the typical lifespan is for a healthy adult vs someone who has heart failure, COPD, or sleep apnea? Holly Sue, in her final lines, hit it square. QUIT looking for a death sentence!! ONLY God knows your future. Why waste time, day after day, worrying about when the day is here. Get off it -- live life -- don't waste it! Once this moment is gone, you'll never get it back. A very sincere friend, Rachel

My doctor told me that if I ever see an expiration date anywhere on my body to get in to see her immediately!! She has assured me that I will continue to live a full life as long as continue my drug regimen and keep living my life! With a good attitude and a good relationship with your doctor I believe that you can live and thrive!

Not to be mean. Ive had 6 heart attacks, a brain tumor and a cancerous cyst on my uterus. Im going to take every minute I can get. Ive had multible cases of staph on my legs and in my sinuses. Now I have ph to add to my list. Do you really think I want to know what they think my life span will be? Im going to stay on this earth to torture nurses as long as I can. I was a cardiopulmonary tech. I worked hospitals and hospice for many years. Get you a good doctor. Do your own research. Take life on. Then live!!!
