Treatments and PH

Posted on April 27, 2018

"Not in work so not feeling it too much today, next month is my decision day when I find out what medical treatment I will be on. I will have to make a decision on which treatment hope to take on. I hope everyone is doing well, take care." -A member of myPHteam

On myPHteam, the social network and online support group for those living with pulmonary hypertension, members talk about a range of personal experiences and struggles. Treatments are one of the most discussed subjects.

Here are some conversations about treatments:

I found a better way of dealing with my anxiety before showering. I guess I wasn’t realizing that I must take breathing treatments more often, and my anxiety medicine earlier to be able to rest before I take my showers.

I have blood clots in my lungs which showed up following chemo treatments. I am in hopes of improvement with the surgery. I am very grateful for this support group. I have felt so alone the past year.

Kinda had a rough night. Ended up with two breathing treatments and back pain.

Here are some question and answer threads about treatments:

What are treatment options if you have both PH and COPD?

Can letairis lower platelets?

How has Orenitram worked for you?

Can you relate?
