My Recent Echo Was Good As Was My BNP Blood Test, But Lately My Resting Heart Rate Has Been In The Low 60s And Sometimes Lower. Thoughts?
I think always err on the side of safety when your HR abnormal for you. If yours is usually much higher, I would definitely speak to your doctor, especially if you have symptoms (like lightheaded) with it or if there is a trend that it keeps going lower. I have the opposite problem right now with resting HR 116 and my trend is going up. 60 can be normal, but if your normal is 80, then it abnormal.
Good AI answer. I always thought the range for resting heart rate was 60 - 100.
Good luck with cardiologist
Hi Ken, my resting is usually in the 90s, rarely in 80s. My pulmonologist told my PT to make sure it doesn't go above 134. It got into high 120s one time and we stopped. I do one thing then rest. She is very careful and watches my HR. I do hope you get answers and rest when needed. Good luck and God bless.
Thanks for the insight; I am hopeful for some answers although if PAH has taught me anything, it’s that definitive answers are few and far between…
