Does Anybody Use A Medical Adjustable Kitchen Chair?

A myPHteam Member asked a question 💭
Scottsdale, AZ

I am looking into getting a specialized chair to keep by the stove to assist me while cooking. I’ve sent an inquiry to my clinic social worker to see if Medicare would cover one.

I’d love to know which models are the best…if you have any experience with one, please share.

This sort of chair might be useful as you can raise and lower it to suit your needs.
I'm in the UK but I'm sure they are available in the US too.

Heather……maybe put s pillow on the seat of the rollator……stand up & sit down at appropriate times when cooking……just remember to use the breaks so it doesn’t roll backwards on you……stand as needed….then sit 😀

@A myPHteam Member I use a bar stool now from my husband's workshop and I feel I need a back plus more stability. I am not comfortable with the bar stool reaching and stirring or stir frying, etc. So I end up standing up anyway.

I appreciate your idea...and it's what i'm using now so great minds think alike.
