Are There Clinical Trials For Winrevair In Group 2 PH
Do be aware that, if you have commercial/group health insurance, that it will generally not only not cover the experimental treatment, but will usually also not cover any complications arising from the treatment. I'm not in any way saying don't do a trial, but do go into it knowing how things will be handled should you have an adverse reaction to the medication that requires more than just minimal treatment.
Yes. I don't know whether or not it's still open for participants. My clinic applied for me to participate quite a few months ago and I was rejected as my numbers weren't bad enough.
There is another brand new medication getting ready to enter Phase 3 clinical trials for some group 2 patients. I have a meeting with my husband at my clinic to discuss it mid February. I don't even know its name or anything other than it is hormone based...but I don't even know yet as to which hormone.
You should make sure your PH Clinic knows you are interested in hearing about all Group 2 clinical trials.
Thank you so much for that insight. I am on Medicare plus a supplement. I never would have thought to ask about that angle.
