What Is The Connection Between PH And Insomnia?
I do NOT have Sleep Apnea...but I suffer mightily from Insomnia and desperately try not to become reliant upon Ambien or even the OTC aides. I notice quite a few of us have a variety of sleep disorders and I'd love to understand the connection beyond the world of Sleep Apnea.
Heather, I love the Pac Man visualization. I've used it myself in the past.
Melatonin, magnesium and I'm also on gabapentin for nerve pain. (It makes me sleepy). I wear a cpap at night otherwise my sleep would be interrupted constantly. I can't eat late, or drink tea before bed. A cool room with extra blankets, and an extra pillow for nights I have trouble breathing. I also wake between 3 and 4, get up make coffee and return to bed around 530 for an extra hour off sleep. We've been getting up at 4 AM for almost 40 years for my husband's work schedule. . I guess it is a habit now. Finding what works for you is the answer.
80% is waaaay too low.
I started sleeping much better after I started my medication for IPAH. With IPAH my oxygen saturation levels are fine. I am more careful with not stressing and don't drink caffeine so I sleep better (7 to 8 hours per day). Otherwise I feel really sleepy during the day.
I don’t always get good sleep in the bed…..but I can come out to my recliner around 6AM…..snuggle up under my soft throw & be in La La Land in no time flat 😃🥲😃😃
I Suppose I Wonder How Much Of What I Feel Is Like Others With The Same Problem.
