There is currently no cure for PH but managing your sleep apnea can manage the PH and slow its progression.

Sleep apnea, particularly obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), can cause or worsen pulmonary hypertension (PH). This happens due to intermittent hypoxia (low oxygen levels) during apnea episodes, which can lead to changes in blood vessels and increased pressure in the pulmonary arteries. Treating sleep apnea, such as with a CPAP machine, can help manage PH symptoms and may improve the condition, especially if PH is caused by untreated sleep apnea.

I am not on Winrevair. It's only approved so far for Group 1.

Did you have any side effects from taking that?

I am Group 2 due to Left Heart Disease.

There is some hope that over the long term it might be determined that the medication Winrevair might reverse enough of the arterial damage that it might become β€œa cure” but it is too soon to tell. Plus as of now it is only approved for Group 1.
