Yes ain't that the truth. I'm finally getting used to my bypap. It a little smaller than my cpap. I still use my cpap but only during the day when I get really winded from doing something.

I use the pillow mask and have had good results with it. I cannot use the nasal mask because of discomfort. As far as infections you must keep these clean. I have not had an infection. I put my mask in a uv sanitize unit every morning. replace articles as suggested. Last night the pressure was increased and I did find air escaping so I will probably have to have less pressure or go to a different mask. I know people who couldn't sleep without the cpap and some that have given up but it does help many feel better if that is their problem and hopefully be healthier. I was apprehensive at first about using one but I made up my mind to at least try. I sleep an average of 7.5 hours a night with only getting up once a night. for me that's an improvement.

I use the Amara View full face mask. I find it comfortable. I breathe through my mouth often, so needed the full face mask.

I was on a cpap for close to 6 years then I just quit using bout 2 years ago cause it was getting annoying. I just started using a bipap about 3 mo. ago with a pillow mask that covers my nose and mouth. I had a sleep study and they said my apnea was very severe so I'm back on it. It seems to be workin pretty good and it's a lot more comfortable. It's all preset and everything and they get a report everyday so they know when use it. Darn.🤣
