Does All Over Pain Go With The Shortness Of Breath ,chest Pain, Arms Joints, Etc.?
I am newly diagnosed with PH (by echocardiogram), I have multiple health issues. I can barely function with household duties .I am scheduled for a V/Q scan in Dec, and am not on any meds for PH yet. Today I was really down in spirits. Any insight, please
Kay: I thought I would type some more info for you before I go to sleep.
According to my primary cardiologist, on an echo, if the systolic number was 20-25 it was to be considered "normal; between 30-35 would mean "watch and wait", between 40-45 would mean get a right heart cath to confirm a PH diagnosis. My initial systolic pressure on the echo was 78.
The Right Heart Cath, which follows the echo, is the only way to get a firm diagnosis of any of the PH forms as echo numbers are not reliable or completely accurate. My first RHC systolic number was 56 or 58, I forget. But clearly a 20 point spread from my echo.
I will give an update as soon as I know the results. Hopefully I will be able to add Uptravi after the cath! I can always stop taking it if it doesnβt work for me. ππ»

Jean: Good luck with that! Keep us posted.
Hi Heather 10. I am scheduled for a follow-up RHC in November in hopes of adding Uptravi. ππ»β€οΈ
