My cough is worse in the mornings and if I go out into cold air or even eat a cold ice cream I will start it up but I also have interstitial lung disease.

I had a 24/7 dry cough that was actually debilitating from Tadalafil. That was a side effect only reported by 0.01% of Tadalafil users! I obviously had to stop taking it.

Hi CarlWilkins, I am curious about your comment of wanting to sleep forever. Have you had any thoughts of hurting yourself? Do you feel so terrible that you wish you were no longer alive? If you answered yes to any of these questions, please ask your PCP doctor for a mental health referral right away! God has blessed us with this beautiful Earth and flowers and dogs etc and he wants us to enjoy our lives. Does your disease cut down on your ability to enjoy life? You may be depressed and that is something that is TREATABLE!! I was depressed after Covid myself. I do have a cough in the morning when I get up too and for many days this year I would sleep 12 hours at night. But, I have been seeing a couple of professionals and doing talk therapy and it has helped. Please go to the "Resources" portion at the top of this page and read about Depression and ways to cope. It will give you a new lease on life! I promise!! Blessings and know that I care about you!!
