the meeting was great and well attended considering it was about 112 degrees in Phoenix...Dr Moore had an emergency to attend to so Nurse Cynthia pitched in and we had a change of topics to "Sodium...How to find the hidden sodium". Cynthia essentially brought in her food pantry from home and we discussed how to read and discern between labels and how to make substitutes in both our home cooking and eating out. we talked about how to source the lower sodium products and compared some of own personal tricks. Cynthia ended the meeting by handing out little workbooks that can help us keep track of what we are ingesting.

I know it sounds like a rather dull topic but we had a lot of laughs and the time flew by.

The next meeting will be Friday 08/16 at 11AM with Dr Moore delivering his anticipated presentation on PH Medications: New and Old.

I'll be happy to! I believe Dr Moore will be taking us through the evolution of the medicines that were and now are used to treat PH. I'll take notes!

I had brought a pad with me today to take notes for you but since we didn't discuss the meds I didn't write anything down. I'll take notes at the next one.

I hope you will share with everyone about anything new you learn at this meeting.
