Hi Sandy, are you on oxygen when your levels drop that low? Yesterday my levels had been to 86. At 86 I was feeling totally exhausted. You must be feeling horrid when your oxygen is so low. Is your specialist monitoring your meds as prednisone has so many side effects. Take care! 🫂

Hi Sandy, My Pulmonologist told me that anytime my oxygen drops below 90 is a concern. I would most definitely contact your doctor for advice. Praying that your levels will stabilize soon.

It sounds like you're in the middle of a significant medication transition. Here are some general tips and considerations based on the context provided:

1. Monitor Weight: Prednisone can cause weight gain due to increased appetite. Weigh yourself daily to monitor any significant changes, especially since fluid retention can worsen pulmonary hypertension (PH).

2. Sodium Intake: Be mindful of sodium in your diet, as it can cause fluid retention. Avoid processed foods and cook with fresh ingredients.

3. Stay Hydrated: Drinking plenty of water can help manage weight and overall health.

4. Exercise: Engage in regular physical activity, such as walking, to help manage weight and improve overall well-being.

5. Consult Your Doctor: Always keep your healthcare team informed about any changes in your condition or side effects from new medications.

If you have specific concerns or symptoms, it's best to discuss them directly with your healthcare provider.
