I Was Told By A PH SPECIALIST That There Are No Medications To Help Me Because I Have Fibrosis With My Copd And PAH Is This True ?
Hi Cheryl736, have you ever tried Pulmonary Rehab? I have only heard good things about it! If you haven't tried it, please talk to your doctor about it. You may also find information in the "Resources" tab at the top of this page. I feel that anything that can improve a persons quality of life is well worth a try! Blessings!
I don’t no if that is true. But I have met at least five people that had to have lung transplant and that was the best thing they did. It is scary but I have gone to multiple doctors and I am headed to lung transplant, I thought it was over and did a lot of looking on line and it seems dim. But after meeting people that have had this done and are doing well it gives me hope. Don’t give up stay positive and get that second opinion
Hi Cheryl……Can you get another Doctor’s opinion……either a PH doctor or a pulmonologist????? Good Luck!!!!!!! ❤️💐❤️
Yes I have gone through pulmonary rehab and it helped back when I did it. I had a bad fall a month ago and fell directly on to both my knees. My left knee is a knee replacement and I have arthritis really bad in my right knee. This is a long recovery and is limiting my ability to walk. I am seeing my ortho Dr who is giving me a serious of a viscos supplementation to my right knee to help with my arthritis in right knee but he said it will take weeks for the knee replacement area to heal. I plan to start physical therapy when I can.. I am doing all the other cold and heat and arthritis creams to both legs. I still am hoping to find someone else with fibrosis and PAH who found a treatment for their PAH.
I agree, pulmonary rehab is great. I did it for months and loved it. I felt really good to do the exercises. I really didn’t think I would like it but I did and now I go to the gym and it’s really helpful. Worth trying
