What Is The Best Sleeping Position For PAH?
I'm finding conflicting info on this question.
We have a Split King Adjustable bed. I keep my head of the bed elevated about 45 degrees and my feet elevated (to prevent and/or reduce edema) about 25 degrees. I've gotten accustomed to it though it took a while.
I think the quality of sleep is more important than the position you sleep in. If you have sleep apnea and have been prescribed a CPAP machine, it is important to consistently use it even when napping. If you snore, you may rest better (and so will your sleep partner) if you sleep on your side. If you find you are shorter of breath when you sleep flat, try sleeping in an elevated position with a wedge pillow (Amazon has lots of options) or by placing blocks under the frame at the head of your bed.
