Good Morning! I Have A Question About Chest Pain. I Have Chest Pain But I Have A Pressure In My Back Thoracic Area That Radiate To My Sides.

Have anyone experienced this and what do you do to manage. I have some upcoming tests in January but don't want to go to emerg because so far I am managing on my own but it is uncomfortable and I am very tired. I am working which keeps my mind busy and not focused on my symptoms but the symptoms are always there. Worse when I have extra fluids on board I think. Taking my oxygen saturations and they fluctuate. Thank you for listening. I appreciate this group and support.

If this is a new symptom, it's best to err on the side of caution and call your doctor. That being said, I experience chest pain (more of an ache) fairly often. It typically presents as a dull ache in the center of my chest beneath my sternum. I notice it is worse when I take a deep breath. It is also worse if my weight increases by even a pound.
