ABQJane, I have taken Opsumit since I was diagnosed in 2016, no problems.

Thanks to all of you for your input.

Hi Lori, I have been on Adempas for about 18 months. I had a slight headache, my worse symptom was swelling in my feet, legs. This medication has made life so much better for me. I could barely get from my chair to bathroom due to breathing problems. I'm not on any inhalers or oxygen. I also take Uptravi. Now that's a different story. It's not kind to my body at all. I wish you the best.

Hello Lori. I started Adempas mid Jan 2023 at .5 mg 3x daily. I had flu like symptoms for a few weeks. By the time I got to 2.0mg I felt ok. Also taking TyvasoDPI. I have terrible flu like symptoms with this since mid May. This week is better, thank God. I was not taking it exactly correctly. Either misinformed or misunderstood.
God bless you as you start this medical rollercoaster.

Hi Lori. I've been on Adempas for one year now and I made notes when I started taking it. I had mild diarrhea in the beginning but it didn't last long. I was able to discontinue one blood pressure medication when I titrated up to 2.5 mg of Adempas. The only thing that I still have is nighttime hot flashes but I also started Opsumit in September of last year so I don't know which drug is the culprit.
Last December after only being on Adempas for four months my echo, BNP and 6MWT had already improved. I hope you have good results and minimal side effects too. Hugs

Hi Lori5, I have been on Adempas for about 3 weeks. So far no problems. No side effects. The nurse who comes to my house, said it takes about 8 weeks or so to see any improvement. So far I haven’t changed my dose. Good luck with it.
