I am seeing a therapist 1:1 for depression and I'm in a group through my insurance provider. I'd definitely suggest seeing if you can join a support group (via Zoom or in person). If that's not an option, there are support groups through other providers that your insurance provider should be able to recommend to you. I was referred to one at Stanford Hospital that was specific to PH and PAH and I found that helpful when I was first diagnosed. Now I'm in a general group that focuses on depression and another that focuses on Anxiety and Low Self Esteem. Both have mindfulness activities either before or after each weekly class and I've found those helpful as well. Big hugs to you and thank you for asking for help. That's always that first step!!!!!!!!!

What to do for Depression? Everyone is different. Do you know, why you are unhappy? I do not think of sadness as depression, the word it self is just not good. I think of it as sadness/unhappy, think about it sadness/unhappiness is easier to solve. The word depression, is hard to define. You are sad and unhappy, what is causing you to be unhappy, which is causing your sadness?
Let me know what you think of this? Joyce Meyer's says change your thoughts, change your life.
More to come.

- Mindfulness: This involves being present in the moment and can include meditation or prayer.

3. Lifestyle Changes:
- Exercise: Light exercise can improve mood and symptoms of heart disease.
- Social Support: Joining support groups, such as the myPHteam community, can be invaluable.

4. Professional Support:
- Having a trusted mental health professional, such as a psychiatrist, is crucial for long-term management.
