Hi Rebecca! I hope these links will answer your question. There are a number of causes of PH. With the exception of PAH, all other forms of PH originate from issues on the left side of the heart. I was diagnosed with APAH (associated pulmonary arterial hypertension). My PAH is caused by an autoimmune disease called Sjogren's that is included in the connective tissue family of diseases. PAH is treated much differently than other forms of PH. Do you know what kind of PH you have been diagnosed with? Have you been told what medications will be prescribed for your PH? Christine
