My story follows but my question is:
Has anyone used Palliative care to manage their anxiety? If you have how did you determine they were willing to help you manage your anxiety?

My Pulmonologist refered me to my PCP. My PCP (he is a young Dr.) told me he does not usually take patients with chronic anxiety disorder. I had to get a prescription from my Physiatrist for my chronic anxiety.
I'm afraid to ask my PCP since he has lumped anxiety meds into the same category as oxycodone.
I Googled Palliative care and am talking with them directly to see if they would be willing to help me.

Have you talked to your pcp or your pulmmon oligist. They may be able to give you advice about pallative care.
