Does Eliguis Make U Nausous And Dizzy
As soon as I started eliguis 5mg I started to feel real tired and then nausous, my edema returned in my legs, combination diarea,Diarra,, Has anyone else experienced these type of side effect. Also its cold out and I can't even stand outside a minute with bare hands my fingers freeze up very fast and I'm getting real thin skinned and bleeding real bad
Hello,I've been on Eliquis, 5mg twice daily for three years now, previously on Warfarin. The only side effect I have is bruising but not as bad as when I was on Warfarin. Being dizzy and excess bleeding are some common side effects but every patient is different. I suffer from nerve damage and my kidney disease both affect cold intolerance, especially in the winter. Edema is not one a common symptom.
I get edema from (my kidney disease) time to time. I cut out a lot of food products containing sodium and prepare my foods with unsalted condiments, even butter and it's really helped. But if you're bleeding is bad prior to you starting Eliquis you should contact your doctor. My primary doctor told me the edema comes with age, idk. Hope you get this figured out.
I have taken 5 mg. Eliquis twice daily for 5 years, and can't say I've had any huge reaction, other than what others have mentioned; i.e., bruising and feeli g colder than usual. I think the edema is caused by the PAH, as my slight case has increased a lot since my diagnosis just 5 months ago. I do well with compression socks (love Wellow), and knee- high compression stockings (the ones with zippers on Amazon are easy to put on) but I can't imagine how uncomfortable any tight leg hosiery will be in 90 degree weather in the summer. Oh well, guess I'll have to stay in A/C!
I take Elquis. So far I been ok.
